ENOUGH Initiative

The Engaging Neighborhoods, Organizations, Unions, Governments and Households (ENOUGH) Initiative is a program created by Governor Wes Moore to help communities across the state of Maryland find ways to fight poverty in their neighborhoods.

About the Enough Initiative:

In 2024, Maryland took a major step toward reducing poverty with the passage of the Engaging Neighborhoods, Organizations, Unions, Governments, and Households (ENOUGH) Act under the Moore-Miller Administration. This legislation is designed to confront systemic inequities by collaborating with communities to create solutions that reflect local needs and priorities.

The ENOUGH Initiative, led by the Governor’s Office for Children (GOC), now provides support to 27 community-based organizations across 12 counties. These efforts span rural, suburban, and urban areas that have historically experienced limited economic opportunity.
